Are you tired of feeling tired? Having ME/CFS, post viral fatigue or other fatigue-related conditions like fibromyalgia can leave you feeling you’re existing, but not able to live life to the full. The simplest of tasks can feel overwhelming, creating frustration and hopelessness.
However, there is hope and there are many ways to help support you, including sound therapy.
Sound Therapy can help you:
- Calm the nervous system.
- Reduce pain
- Feel more at peace and positive
- Improve sleep
Bea Martin and David Johnson of Bards of Avalon combine their voices with the sounds of Himalayan Bowls, Gongs and other percussion instruments to create a soundscape which supports your health and wellbeing. All you need to do is find a comfortable place to either lie down or sit whilst bathing in sound waves.
Research has shown that by using sounds in particular sequences, the stress hormone cortisone is reduced, brainwave activity calms, the heart rate reduces. Your body gets a chance to rest and recharge.
Feedback from previous sound baths:
"I felt as though I had a full body massage."
"Feeling so deeply relaxed now."
"I had the best night's sleep in ages after the sound bath."
We’re delighted to be hosted by Pamela Rose. From Pamela: “I’m delighted to be hosting this wonderful Sonic Tonic session by Bea and David. Sound therapy is particularly beneficial for those with extreme fatigue as it encourages our minds and bodies to get into the calm balanced state that is restorative in so many ways. Many of the people I’ve helped have reported benefits from sound therapy such as improved sleep, a calmer more balanced nervous system and a reduced heart rate.” www.pamelarose.co.uk
