Kindred Spirit Magazine featured our work as part of a sound therapy special in 2018. We’ve published a few articles in Paradigm Shift Magazine including one on The Perpetual Choirs.

During 2020 we were contributing authors to The Bounce Back Journey, The Bounce Back Journey of Women’s Health and The Bounce Back Journey of Men’s Health, all Amazon best sellers. We’re currently both working on The Bounce Back Journey of Careers.

We’re also in demand as radio show guests and have appeared on BBC, BCfm, Ujima and Serenity UK Radio stations with live demonstrations of our sounds on the BBC’s Steve Yabsley, Martin Evans and Jonathan Ray shows.

We have also appeared on Arté TV France in a documentary series "Histoires d'Arbres" with live singing and interview at the Whiteleaved Oak, Malvern.

We also love collaborating with other sound therapy practitioners and have worked on an International Peace Day event with Craig Pruess and the Ganda Boys in 2015, World Sound Healing Days and several sound events at Stonehenge and Avebury.

We were also delighted to be part of the backing bhakti choir on Tim Chalice's album, "Give It All Away For Love" launched in April 2016.

Sanctum Bristol

In November 2015, we were honoured and delighted to be part of Theaster Gates' groundbreaking performance art piece "Sanctum."

For 24 days Sanctum hosted a continuous programme of sound over 552 hours, with Bristol based poets, performance artists and musicians from every genre, including us!

We were particularly excited by this project as the venue, Temple Church, Bristol, lies on one of the Perpetual Choir lines. We performed four soundscapes there, including a very poignant piece for Remembrance Sunday.

We have done several events in partnership with Linkage and Macmillan Cancer demonstrating the relaxing and pain-relieving qualities of sound therapy. We have also offered relaxing sound bath sessions to carers and staff of hospices and residential care homes.

We enjoy speaking at conferences such as the Healing Trust Conference in 2018 where we delivered three workshops. We’ve also given presentations to varied special interest groups e.g. Federation of Holistic Therapists, dowsing groups, health and wellness groups.

With the advent of COVID-19, we were still able to present online to the Sound Energy Medicine Conference 2020 and Oasis Well-being events.

We love to share our experiences of sound through workshops, sound baths, and presentations. During lockdown, we’ve been able to offer our services online using Zoom. This includes a regular Sunday Sonic Tonic session, which has been much appreciated by our clients, many of whom have been shielding or acting as keyworkers.

We’ve collaborated with other wellbeing practitioners on community health projects such as Bristol’s Healthy City Week and Global Wellbeing Network. This included giving demonstrations and sound therapy tasters at Bristol Royal Infirmary’s Heart Institute.

Our explorations of sound have led us to learning directly from some of the world’s finest sound healing practitioners including Jonathan Goldman, Tom Kenyon, Chloë Goodchild, Jhadten Jewall and Lyz Cooper. We are both qualified British Academy of Sound Therapy Community Soundworkers.

From the day we met, we've travelled to sacred sites throughout the world, singing our love, thanks and respect to the land. We later discovered this follows ancient traditions such as the Songlines and Perpetual Choirs where Earth Singers use sound and intention to bring harmony and healing to the land.

Whilst travelling, people would ask us to make a recording of our sounds. Eventually, with divine help and inspiration, we produced an album in 2010, “The Archangel Transmissions”.

Our Journey

We first met in 2003 en route to Stonehenge for a sacred sound workshop with Jhadten Jewall. We’ve been singing together ever since!

Bea was introduced to toning in 1990.  Just five minutes chanting “Om” produced a profound heart opening and a desire to explore sound healing in much greater depth.  David has been fascinated with sound since a child.  His introduction to sound healing came via a gong bath which he won at a charity auction in 2002!

We have trained in a variety of healing modalities, however, we both found that sound healing has had the most profound impact on our lives.

WELCOME

We are Bea Martin and David Johnson, therapeutic sound practitioners who have been working together since 2003.

We have trained with some of the world's finest sound healing practitioners and have been working together with sound since 2003. We’re passionate about the positive impact of sound therapy on people’s lives. We’ve seen first-hand how sound helps to reduce stress and provide deep relaxation. We love to share our knowledge and experience of how to use sound to assist in releasing and transforming limiting patterns. Our mission is to support you in realising your potential, have a more joyful, fulfilling life and enhance your health and wellbeing.

We offer a range of services including relaxing group sound baths, empowering workshops, inspirational presentations and life-affirming sacred site journeys.

Based in the South West of UK, we’ve worked with a great variety of individuals, organisations and community groups throughout the world.
